GCRM also operates a donor egg programme with IVF Spain in Alicante. Even though we have our own successful donation programme, we can also offer coordination for treatment cycles if you choose to seek donor treatment overseas. This may open up your choice of donors and speed up your treatment.
The link with Alicante has proven highly successful, enabling us to offer donor egg treatment to UK patients who may have to wait for donor eggs. This link with the established Spanish clinic has received excellent feedback from patients.
GCRM is happy to endorse IVF Alicante, as their practices are well defined, their doctors and staff are highly skilled and they have pioneered a number of current practices. Furthermore, their donors are fully and stringently screened in accordance with current UK legislation. Staff at theIVF Alicante are used to welcoming patients from the UK, and speak excellent English. The clinic offers access to a good supply of quality donor eggs and sperm.
The main difference between overseas and UK donors is that in other territories all donors are anonymous. In the UK, donors consent to provide certain information that could lead to them being identified. In other words it is possible for any child born from a UK donor (at the age of 18) to trace their biological parent.
