West Highland Way Challenge 2008

The team at GCRM are walking the West Highland Way (95 miles) in relay, on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd, in aid of the "Anthony Nolan Trust".

We will start in Milngavie at 1pm on Friday 1st August, with the first leg covering 18 miles and ending in Balmaha at approximately 9:30pm.

At 6:00am the next morning, members of the team will walk until 8:00pm or 9:00pm, resting at the Bridge of Orchy bunkhouse overnight! This section is approximately 43 miles.

On Sunday 3rd August, the last day of the challenge, we will cover the final 34 miles, heading over Rannoch Moor, The Devils Staircase, through Kinlochleven and finishing in Fort William.

We expect a few sore limbs on Monday 4th August!

The Anthony Nolan Trust provides lifesaving donors for patients in need of bone marrow transplant; if you would like to sponsor the GCRM team please use our "Justgiving" fundraising page (www.justgiving.com/gcrm) or you can use the link below. Many Thanks!
