Our Success Rates

Although success rates are only one measure of a clinic’s performance, they play a major part in helping many patients choose which clinic to attend.

When providing comparative live birth data, GCRM presents HFEA-ratified data. As publication of HFEA live-birth data has a two year time-lag, we also provide our own more recent clinical pregnancy rate data. This helps gives patients an indication of the clinics current performance.

HFEA published live birth data for IVF and ICSI treatments

The HFEA has published the ‘Live Birth Rates’ for all IVF units in the UK. This is for year ending 4th quarter of 2009.

Graph 1: This represents the data as published, for the IVF Clinics in the West of Scotland. Table 1 below provides the raw data for the same period.

Please note: The HFEA advises that results are unreliable when the number of cycles started in any age category is less than 50.
