GCRM link with Glasgow University

GCRM Ltd is very pleased to announce our formal link with the University of Glasgow, and that Professor Scott Nelson has joined our team. Scott is the Muirhead Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Glasgow and a consultant in the Assisted Conception Unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. He has rapidly developed a fine reputation amongst professionals working in reproductive medicine, and is an invited speaker at many international meetings. As well as his clinical expertise, his role in numerous research programmes brings a unique insight and knowledge base to GCRM.

Reproductive medicine is a fast-moving science, and the closer any clinic can get to sound advice regarding recent developments and re-evaluation of current practice the better.
GCRM was set-up based upon a sound understanding of scientific models, and we anticipate that this new arrangement will help encourage constructive innovation into the future.

GCRM & Glasgow University workshop on the Clinical Utility of AMH

On the 7th May 2010, Professors Richard Fleming and Scott Nelson hosted the first international workshop on the clinical use of AMH. The event was held in Glasgow at the Grosvenor Hotel and was organised jointly by GCRM and Glasgow University. With an exceptional faculty of invited speakers, the workshop attracted over 80 delegates from around the UK and Europe. Below is a PDF document which provides a summary of the day with the main 'take home' messages from each lecture included.

The day proved a great success and it is hoped that further workshops will be arranged for the future.

GCRM and Glasgow University would like to acknowledge the support received for this event from both Merck Serono UK and Beckman Coulter.
