This is relevant for any patient that wishes to cancel treatment before they have started stimulation injections or received monitoring (blood tests or scans) by the clinic. This nonrefundable
deposit is to cover costs incurred by GCRM prior to the patient electing to cancel.
These costs include the consent appointment, co-ordination of treatment dates, prescriptions and all administrative processes.
Please note:
The regulatory body (HFEA) levies fees on a number of procedures in fertility treatment.
This charge is included in the prices outlined above. The fee charged is shown below:
|
IVF / ICSI / FET per treatment cycle
|
£104.50
|
|
Donor insemination / any treatment cycle involving the use of donor sperm
|
£52
|
Embryos, Sperm and Eggs will be stored for the period you have indicated on your HFEA consent forms. We will contact you annually to confirm that you wish to continue with storage and if so, you will be required to pay the annual storage fee.
Independent counselling is a free-of-charge service offered to all GCRM patients. It is available during and for up to two months after treatment has finished, either by contacting the independent counsellor directly or through the GCRM.
In cases where your Health Insurance may fund consultations and investigations, you will need to pay the fees directly to GCRM, and claim the cost back from your Health Insurance. We are unable to negotiate claims directly with Health Insurers.
In the event of an unexpected interruption to our services which is out with our control, your treatment may have to be cancelled. In this case you will be entitled to a full refund.
Payment Options
Patients are asked to pay fees on the day.
Important : Payment in full for treatment must be received at the time of the Consent Appointment.
We accept credit and debit cards other than American Express.
All cheques must have cleared prior to commencement of treatment.
Effective from 29th March 2010
